Important Notice

A message from American Institute of Dermatology, P.A. regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear Patients,

Please be advised that our offices are being abundantly cautious given the recent developments of COVID-19. We are closely monitoring the situation to keep our patients and employees safe during this time:

  • Our exam rooms are cleaned and disinfected after every patient encounter. Our workstations are cleaned daily and we have increased the frequency of cleaning of common areas.

  • Our employees continue to adhere to OSHA and CDC protocols to prevent the spread of viruses and other diseases including wearing personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves at all times.

  • Our staff is following hand washing protocols and sanitizing between every single patient encounter.

  • We are screening all employees that may be experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, runny nose, cough, headache or sore throat) and requiring them to stay home.

  • The seating capacity of our waiting rooms has been reduced to ten people as recommended by CDC. After check-in in the office, patients will have the option to wait in their vehicles and receive a text message when we are ready to bring them directly into an exam room. If you need to bring a guest to your future appointment with us, we ask that you limit it to only one.

  • We are screening all patients that may be experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, runny nose, cough, headache or sore throat) to reschedule their appointments. Noshow fees will not be charged, but the courtesy of a call is greatly appreciated.

We will continue to observe guidelines from health agencies and government officials and will keep you up-to-date regarding any changes to our operations.

Sincerely,

American Institute of Dermatology, P.A.
